Rinzai Designs is the personal weblog and design portfolio of Ben Robinson.
I live and work in the beautiful city of Chicago. Currently, I am working full time at the Alzheimer’s Association as a web data analyst. This basically means I set up and monitor web analytics, create many, many reports, and make recommendations to increase traffic and enhance the user experience.
My experience designing websites began about 10 years ago on my student web space at ASU. I like to think I have made great strides in my abilities since then, but also, my passions have changed. While I still try to make web sites that look good, my first considerations are now user experience (useability) and search engine optimization.
With that thought in mind, I recently partnered up with Rod Holmes of English Word Works to create Chicago Style SEO. I still do original designs, but more often these days, I use the customers pre-existing designs and optimize them for search marketing.
That said, I am still designing new sites, so if you like what you see, feel free to contact me for an estimate or to get some advice on an upcoming project.
